The Porsche Vision Gran Turismo concept was introduced late last year as a virtual EV racecar for the popular video game franchise, but the model is now getting a new livery inspired by street art.
The new wrap appeared in a series of shadowy teasers prior to its debut at Gamescon on August 24. The street-art-style design was created by Vexx, a well-known Belgium-based visual artist. He will paint the actual concept car live during the event, which means that the colorful Vision GT will exist not only in the digital world but also in real life.

Speaking about this project, Vexx said: “For me as an artist, it was a unique opportunity to create a completely new design for Porsche. The look taps into both Porsche’s brand identity and gaming themes. I’m excited that the gaming community will be able to drive the vehicle virtually from now on – bringing my graphics to life and making them tangible”. The artist will also showcase his NFT works and fashion collection by Puma at Gamescom.
Besides witnessing the creation of the new livery, Gamescon visitors will get the chance to drive the reskinned vehicle on the Gran Turismo 7 game and also have a go at Porsche’s racing simulators. Porsche will also offer an insight into the design development of the show car. Finally, a 1:18 scale model of the “Vision Gran Turismo Vexx” will be available in the Porsche shop.
