The Porsche Taycan is hard to fault. However, if there’s one thing it could be criticized for, it is the fact that the entry-level model and the flagship Turbo and Turbo S look almost identical. Prior Design has the solution for that.
The tuning expert has a long history of creating bold bodykits for the world’s most popular performance cars and has just launched its widebody kit for the Taycan Turbo and Turbo S models. The kit ensures that no Turbo or Turbo S equipped with one will ever be confused with a rear-wheel drive Taycan.

Prior Design’s bodykit for the Taycan is made from a lightweight and strong fiberglass-Dura-Flex material and starts at the front end with a new splitter that adds some extra aggression to the EV. It is then the flared front and rear wheel arches that catch the eye, in particular, the front arches because of the aerodynamic fins found on the leading edge of them.
Elsewhere, Prior Design has fabricated new side skirt extensions for the Taycan. A pronounced rear lip spoiler is also available. Rounding out the modifications is a new rear diffuser that looks a touch edgier than the one ordinarily found on the Taycan Turbo and Turbo S models.
The entire 10-piece kit can be purchased for €8,950 ($8,942) or customers can order some of the parts individually. For example, the front spoiler is priced at €1,590 ($1,588), the rear diffuser also costs €1,590 ($1,588), the skirts are available for €1,490 ($1,488), and the tailgate spoiler costs €890 ($889).
While the widebody kit has been designed specifically for the Taycan Turbo and Turbo S, it doesn’t work with models equipped with the SportDesign front bumper. Additionally, the widebody kit can be used for models like the Taycan, Taycan 4, and Taycan 4S, but only after these models are converted and fitted with a Turbo or Turbo S front bumper and diffuser. But that’s cheating, isn’t it?
