A small plane has been destroyed after crash landing on a Californian highway and the whole thing was caught on dashcam.
The single-engine Piper PA-32 made the crash landing on the 91 Freeway between Lincoln and Main in Corona at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.
The rear-facing dashcam of a nearby motorist shows the small plane slowly approaching the freeway before slamming into the pavement. Its right wing appears to hit a car, breaking the wing, and sending the plane into a spin. Aviation fuel was also spilled across the road and immediately caught fire.

Speaking with NBC Los Angeles, pilot Andrew Cho said he took off from the nearby Corona Municipal Airport earlier in the day but upon returning, the plane lost power, leaving him with no choice but to try and find a place to land.
“On my right side was the freeway and of course, my biggest fear was hitting other cars,” Cho explained. “But I saw enough of a gap there and I just headed for the gap.”
Thankfully, neither Cho, his passenger, nor the three people on the pickup truck that he hit were injured in the crash.
“Absolutely very fortunate today,” California Highway Patrol Capt. Levi Miller told ABC7. “The traffic was light, and the pilot appears to have made some good landing navigations and avoided what could have been a very bad tragedy.”
Authorities were forced to close the two right lanes on the eastbound 91 Freeway and the Lincoln on-ramp to clear the wreckage.
