This article includes a rendering for a Charger Daytona SRT Shooting Brake created by TheSketchMonkey who is neither related to nor endorsed by Dodge.
While the internet remains divided on the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Concept, one designer has attempted to alter its looks and convert it into a Shooting Brake.
The all-electric Charger Daytona SRT Concept presented by Dodge takes the form of a sleek-looking two-door sports car with both modern and retro styling cues. We’re quite fond of the design, in particular the front half, but do think the shape of the roof, the rear window, and the decklid look a little odd from the rear three-quarter view.
In order to transform the electric Charger into a Shooting Brake, TheSketchMonkey has stretched the roof and then put some thought into how much he wanted to stretch the rear window and just how wide the C-pillars should be made. The intriguing wheels of the concept have also been replaced with a more familiar set of Hellcat wheels finished in matte black.

Would Dodge ever consider a Shooting Brake version of the Charger Daytona SRT when it spawns a production model in 2024? We wouldn’t get our hopes up but it’s worth noting that the second-generation Dodge Magnum was essentially a wagon version of the Charger, so if the carmaker wanted to make a car like this a reality, we’re sure it could without too much difficulty.
As for the electric Charger concept that we recently saw in the flesh, we know that it has been equipped with the company’s new Banshee powertrain. While Dodge has yet to release comprehensive technical specifications about this powertrain, we know that it is an 800-volt system with all wheel drive and will eclipse the Hemi, Hellcat, and Redeye engines.
