What Will Happen To The Golf And 3-Series When The ID.3 And i4 Are The Default VWs And BMWs?

The rise of electric sub-brands has raised a curious question: what happens to the long-term staples of the lineup once ICE engines are completely phased out? Will the Golf be replaced by the ID.3? The 3-Series by the i4? It’s an interesting question and one that multiple brands will need to confront sooner or later.

This Is What The Base Trim 2024 Ford Mustang’s Dual Tablet Screens Look Like

We’ve already seen the impressive dashboard layout of the higher-spec 2024 Ford Mustangs, but the base car will feature something different: two tablet-style displays, in the fashion of what’s found in the Mach-E. However, those of you looking forward to the Fox Body mode of the new gauge cluster needn’t worry; it’ll be present across the range.

Lamborghini’s Huracan Hybrid Successor To Get V8 Turbocharging Of A New Kind, Claims Report

Lamborghini, like most others, is going electrified for their next generation of cars, and that includes the yet-to-be-announced successor to the Huracan. A report from Motortrend suggests that the new car will get an axial-flux electric motor in addition to a turbocharged V8. What is an axial-flux electric motor, you ask? Well, unlike the large electric motors used on EVs like the Tesla Model S, this “pancake” motor fits between the engine and transmission and acts almost like an electric supercharger.

The new Edition of the Volkswagen Multivan lineup follows the trend of introducing a dark trim to invigorate the range. The new version features a Deep Black Pearl Effect finish on the grille, roof, and mirror caps, matching the black Toshima 18-inch alloy wheels. There are also “Edition” decals, tinted windows, and darkened LED taillights. The “Edition” edition isn’t all, with VW adding a “Good Night: package to the lineup, too. This addon brings a fold-out bed inside the cabin and a “blackout option.”

One of the biggest reveals from last week was the unveiling of Ferrari’s entry into the SUV space, the Purosangue. But is it the best option in the segment, or does the competition still warrant a second look? Find out here.

2025 Cadillac Celestiq-V: Crystal Ball-Gazing A Super-Performance Version Of The Electric Sedan

The Caddilac Celestiq offers a refreshingly non-crossover SUV take on the future of ultra-luxury cars, with the new car confirmed to be a rather opulent land yacht. Thanks to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, we know that there will likely be four variants of the Celestiq: Aurora, Magnetic, Mist, and Vale. But we’ve been thinking further ahead and wonder if there’s a chance we’ll ever see a V performance edition to tackle the BMW i7 M70 or Lucid Air Sapphire. If there was, our speculative illustrations envisage what a 2025 Cadillac Celestiq-V would look like.
