Good morning and welcome to our daily digest of automotive news from around the globe, starting with…
Porsche To Introduce Three-Row Electric SUV That’s “Very Un-Porsche-Like”
Fans of Porsche may initially have been reluctant to embrace the Cayenne when it first appeared, but adding SUVs to the storied sportscar manufacturer’s lineup has paid off. However, we may all be in for yet another shock as the company readies a new three-row SUV that has been described as a “new style of vehicle that is part sedan, part crossover.” The new model, which will be positioned above the Cayenne, could be here as soon as 2026.
2023 Ford Super Duty Debuts With Two New Engines, Class-Leading Tech, And Improved Capabilities
The 2023 Ford F-Series Super Duty is here, focusing on being the most capable, connected, and user-friendly truck in the model’s history. While the design takes a step forward, the truck itself is chock full of thoughtful features, such as a corner step rear bumper to access the bed, and grab handles in the rear bed rails to help steady yourself. Inside, there’s a marked improvement in interior quality, with a new 12-inch digital instrument cluster and either an 8- or 12-inch infotainment system. Under the hood are two new petrol options: a standard 6.8-liter V8 or a 7.3-liter Godzilla V8, while the Powerstroke diesel returns.

The 2023 BMW XM is here in its final production form, and straight off the bat, we can tell it’s not one for shrinking violets. The new XM is the first M model to feature an electrified drivetrain, – making it also the most powerful BMW M ever. But, at 6,062 lbs (2,750 kg), it’s far from what you could call lightweight. And yes, then there’s the looks, which are the very definition of polarizing.
2023 BMW Z4 Gains New Colors And A Revised Grille But No Manual Gearbox
On the other side of the BMW spectrum, the newly facelifted 2023 BMW Z4 was revealed too and brings with it the smallest of updates. The grilles are the same size and shape, but the design has been tweaked. Also altered are the air vents, and there are new 19-inch wheels on offer. Meanwhile, the M Sport package is now standard, and there are three new colors to choose from.

Citroen has revamped its logo, choosing to take inspiration from its past with a new double chevron in an oval design. The design was originally chosen in 1919 to symbolize the chevron-shaped “herringbone” gear systems that the company made. The new logo is combined with a fresh and simplified color palette plus a modern font for the Citroen lettering.

Maserati Shows Us More Of The Track-Only Project24 Hypercar
Maserati has treated us to a few more illustrations of its Project24 limited-production hypercar. The Project24 will only feature 62 units and will be a track-only creation. It shares the carbon-fiber tub of the MC20, but has a totally redesigned body, with “multi-adjustable” aero parts and lots of exposed carbon. The twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 dry-sump engine has been tuned to produce 730 hp (544 kW / 740 PS), and power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a six-speed sequential gearbox and a mechanical limited-slip differential.
