Nissan has announced the 2023 Pathfinder is now on sale with a base price of $35,000.
That’s a slight increase of $360, but buyers won’t find anything new besides a rugged Rock Creek variant.
The adventure focused model slots between the SV and SL trims, and starts at $42,820. That’s relatively pricey, but the Rock Creek variant is the only Pathfinder to come standard with four-wheel drive.

Speaking of capability, the model features an off-road tuned suspension with a 5/8 inch (16 mm) lift. Buyers will also find a tubular roof rack and 18-inch beadlock-style wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires. Last but not least, there’s a unique front fascia with a dark V-motion grille that features a mesh insert.
Moving into the cabin, there’s leatherette and fabric seats with Rock Creek embroidery and orange contrast stitching. The model also comes equipped with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, second-row captain’s chairs, and heated front seats with 10-way power adjustment on the driver’s side.
Other highlights include a six-speaker audio system, a 7-inch display in the instrument cluster, and an 8-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Buyers will also find a tri-zone automatic climate control system and Gun Metallic brushed trim.
On the safety front, there’s an assortment of driver assistance systems including ProPILOT Assist, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection. They’re joined by Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Cruise Control, and an Intelligent Around View Monitor. Other safety features include Rear Automatic Braking and Lane Departure Warning.
Power comes from a familiar 3.5-liter V6 engine, but the Rock Creek is slightly more powerful than other variants due to “revised fuel mapping.” In particular, when running on premium, the Pathfinder Rock Creek has 295 hp (220 kW / 299 PS) and 270 lb-ft (366 Nm) of torque instead of the usual 284 hp (212 kW / 288 PS) and 259 lb-ft (351 Nm).
Note: Prices exclude a $1,295 destination and handling fee
