Dodge has already introduced six Last Call special editions to mark the end of Charger and Challenger production, but the company is saving the best for last.
Unfortunately, we’re going to have to wait a little longer to see it as Dodge has announced its introduction has been “set back” and the model will no longer debut at SEMA in November.
The automaker didn’t say much about the delay, but suggested supply chain issues are to blame. In particular, Dodge noted “when product and supply challenges have been resolved, the reveal will be rescheduled.”

While there’s no word on when the special edition will be introduced, the company has effectively confirmed it’s based on the Challenger and will be the most extreme model yet.
Details are limited, but officials have previously described it as “badass” and the “very last of its kind.” Previous reports have also suggested the model could be even more extreme than the Challenger SRT Demon.
That particular model was equipped with a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8, which produced up to 840 hp (626 kW / 851 PS) and 770 lb-ft (1,042 Nm) of torque. When the Demon was introduced, Dodge said the car was the world’s fastest production model with a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) time of 2.3 seconds. The Demon also boasted the world’s fastest quarter-mile time for a production car as it could accomplish the task in 9.65 seconds at 140 mph (225 km/h).
