The teaser campaign for the Ferrari Purosangue is entering the home stretch as the company will introduce their first crossover on September 13th.
Besides revealing the date, Ferrari released a short teaser video that shows the Purosangue’s front end while the crossover’s exhaust roars in the background.
There isn’t much to see this time around, but undisguised pictures of the model surfaced in February and Ferrari effectively confirmed their legitimacy with a revealing teaser image in March. As a result, we can expect a swoopy design with soft curves and graceful lines.

The front end will likely provoke strong reactions, but the Purosangue will have a rakish windscreen that flows into a sloping roof. Elsewhere, there will be black cladding and slender lighting units. They’ll be joined by a four-tailpipe exhaust system and a rear end that is part Roma and part FF.
Ferrari hasn’t said much about the model, but the company has already confirmed the Purosangue will have a V12 engine. There’s no word on specifications at this point, but the automaker has previously said “The V12 has always been an intrinsic part of Ferrari DNA. It is a celebration of our heritage, and a symbol of our relentless quest for new heights of performance and pure driving emotion.”
That isn’t much to go on, but the 812 GTS has a 6.5-liter V12 that produces 789 hp (588 kW / 800 PS) and 530 lb-ft (718 Nm) of torque. It enables the model to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km) in less than three seconds, but we’ll find out how fast the Purosangue is next week.
