G-Power is known for tuning BMWs in a flashy way, especially when we’re talking about the flagship “Hurricane” range of models. The latest example is the G5 CS Hurricane RR, bringing immense power and plenty of visual modifications to the already-special limited-production BMW M5 CS of which only 1,000 will be built.
The tuned super sedan is a follow-up to the G5M Hurricane RR, but instead of using a regular M5 as a donor car, it is based on the rarer and lighter CS. From the outside, no one will mistake it for a stock BMW M as the bodykit and the aftermarket wheels help it stand out from the crowd.

Additional components include the Venturi RR / RS hood with integrated vents, the Dynamic rear wing, and the carbon quad exhaust pipes matching with the factory-spec splitter and diffuser in naked carbon. Even flashier are the new 21-inch gold-finished alloy wheels with five double spokes, contrasting with the stock Frozen Deep Green Metallic exterior shade. The tuner also retained the gold-bronze finish on the grille which distinguishes the CS from the lesser M5 and M5 Competition.
More important changes happen under the bonnet, with the twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 benefiting from a series of hardware and software upgrades. Those include new ECU calibration, forged pistons and connecting rods, racing air-filter, upgraded turbochargers with larger turbines/compressors, and the Deeptone exhaust system.
As a result, power output has been increased to a monstrous 887 hp (662 kW / 900 PS), while peak torque reaches 1,050 Nm (774 lb-ft). These figures represent a significant upgrade over the 627 hp (468 kW / 636 PS) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque from the stock M5 CS. G-Power has also raised the top speed limiter to 207 mph (333 km/h) for quicker trips at the Autobahn.
If you are wondering how much it would cost to transform an M5 CS into the Hurricane RR configuration, the total price for the modifications is an eye-watering €119,000 according to the official website nearly doubling the price of the stock car that starts from $142,995 in the States. Besides the flagship G5M CS Hurricane RR with its monstrous figures, G-Power is also offering a slightly less powerful (and cheaper) tuning packages for the M5 CS which were detailed last year.
