When the modern Mini brand first came to America in 2002, it was with a Chili Red model. Now, to celebrate its 20th anniversary, Mini brings the Chili Red color back, and it will be offered alongside Pepper White and Island Blue for the new 20 Years Edition models.
The three colors make up both the Stars and Stripes and the flag of the United Kingdom, making it the perfect trio for the 2023 Mini 20 Years Edition. Available on the Mini Cooper S Hardtop 4 Door, the new special edition offers more than just a vexillological color story.
The new Mini 20 Years Edition also comes with a silver roof and mirror caps, as well as piano black exterior trim. The hood has an offset stripe that is accented in red, white, and blue on the driver’s side, as well as a star on the passenger side, another reference to the American flag.

It also gets a host of accessories, like side scuttle inlays, door sill plates, and C-pillar decals. A set of 17-inch Tentacle Spoke black wheels are also included, wrapped in all-season tires. Customers will also get a panoramic moonroof and roof rails.
The interior features Carbon Black Leatherette sports seats and a Nappa Leather steering wheel, which also gets a “20 Years Edition” insert. Interior trim comes in Piano Black with more “20 Years Edition” graphics, and the headliner is finished in the Anthracite color.
Standard equipment for the new Mini 20 Years Edition includes dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, a storage package, and the touchscreen navigation package. Other tech includes the MINI Assist eCall function, TeleServices, Advanced Real-Time Traffic information, remote services, Apple CarPlay, enhanced Bluetooth, and a dynamic instrument cluster.
Having gone into production in July, the model is ready to start arriving at U.S. dealerships this month. It will have an MSRP of $37,165 ($850 destination fee included).
