The RDX is one of Acura’s best-selling vehicles and it’s getting a handful of updates for 2023.
Since the crossover received a refreshening in 2022, this year’s updates are minor but include three years of AcuraLink services at no additional cost. This is a boon for consumers as the Security package provides Automatic Collision Notification, Enhanced Roadside Assistance, and a live agent that can help you in emergencies.
Customers will also get three years of access to the Remote package, which allows owners to remotely start and stop their vehicle as well as remotely lock and unlock doors. The package also includes a find my car feature, a stolen vehicle locator, and vehicle alarm alerts. Parents can also keep tabs on their kids with speed alerts and a geofence alert, which warns owners if their vehicle enters or leaves a specific area.

Besides the connectivity features, the 2023 RDX comes with a new Acura Maintenance Package. It provides two years or 24,000 miles (38,624 km) of complimentary scheduled maintenance including oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and multi-point inspections.
Since the changes are minor, we’ll remind you the entry-level RDX comes nicely equipped with LED lighting units, a moonroof, a power liftgate, and 19-inch alloy wheels. Buyers will also find heated leatherette front seats with 12-way power adjustment.
Other highlights include a 7-inch multi-information display in the instrument cluster and a 10.2-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. They’re joined by a dual-zone automatic climate control system, a nine-speaker audio system, and HomeLink.
Buyers will also find the AcuraWatch suite of driver assistance systems that includes Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, and a Collision Mitigation Braking System. Other highlights include Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Keeping Assist, and a Road Departure Mitigation system.
Regardless of which trim is selected, all RDXs are powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 272 hp (203 kW / 276 PS) and 280 lb-ft (379 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to a ten-speed automatic transmission, which can be paired to an optional all-wheel drive system for $2,200. However, a handful of higher-end models are available exclusively with all-wheel drive.
Pricing starts at $41,350 which is $750 more than last year’s model. With the $1,195 destination fee factored it, the crossover begins at $42,545.
