The world’s only Lamborghini Miura Roadster is now on display at the brand’s MUDETEC museum of technologies until December. The unique topless supercar isn’t just a Miura without a roof but instead sports bespoke design features unlike any other in the model’s history. Here’s a brief glimpse of what museum-goers can expect to take in when they visit.

This priceless concept car never spurred a production version, which makes it all the more valuable. On top of that, the changes made by Carrozzeria Bertone make it easily spotted even in a sea of Miuras. In addition to the absence of a roof and side windows, the changes include a steeper-raked windshield and large air intakes on each side of the car. According to Lamborghini, these changes “allowed the Bertone stylists to maintain a unique purity of line.”

Behind the occupants, the glorious V12 sits without any cover so as to remain on display for all. The tail lights are unique to this car as well. Appropriately, it’s finished in Lamè Sky Blu, a paint color that glitters in the light. Inside the cabin, there are most changes as the controls that you’ll find on the roof of a normal Miura, had to be relocated.

Originally unveiled in 1968 at the Brussels Motor Show, the car was first sold to the International Lead and Zinc Research Association. The organization modified it heavily by replacing some parts with lighter zinc, painting it green, and adding a green interior. It was then used as a technical demonstration vehicle.

Then, in 2007 and 2008, a new owner saw to it that the car underwent a complete restoration that returned it to its factory-original condition.

The exhibit of the Miura Roadster comes hand in hand with the very last Aventador Ultimae to ever roll off of the production line. That car is a direct homage to this Miura Roadster and sports a similar set of paint colors along with Miura badges to complete the look.

However, and unlike the 1968 Miura Roadster concept, the Aventador Ultimae Roadster comes with a removable carbon fiber roof.
