Back in September, Jeep unveiled the compact, Europe-only Avenger SUV as the first in a line of many EVs to come. As a way to show it and its features off in a creative way, they’ve now created a three-part series of commercials titled “Concentrated Freedom”, in which influencers take it on journeys through scenic locations.
Only the first episode, called “Move”, is currently available, and it sees presenter Rabea Schif and Olympic surfer Leonardo Fioravanti take the Avenger through the winding backroads of the Dolomite Mountains. Some of the “authentic moments” that take place in the commercial feel a bit scripted and artificial, but the video manages to do a pretty good job at highlighting some of the Avenger‘s features.

The commercial also makes a point to advertise the charging network available for the Avenger, as well as the SUV’s charging speed. Using a 100 kW fast charger with a Mode 4 cable, the 54 kWh battery can charge from 20-80 percent in 24 minutes, or add 30 km (19 miles) of range in as little as 3 minutes. When plugged into the wall with an 11 kW Mode 3 cable, the battery takes 5.5 hours to fully charge. And on the topic of a full charge, it affords the Avenger with a WLTP range of 249 miles (400 km) in the combined cycle and up to 342 miles (550 km) in the urban cycle.
A 400-volt electric motor powers the vehicle, and it produces 154 hp (156 PS / 115 kW) and 192 lb-ft (260 Nm) of torque, which is in line with other Stellantis group EVs that use this powertrain like the Peugeot E-308. Seeing as the SUV is FWD only for now and almost certainly has independent suspension, we don’t get to see it doing much more than the lightest of off-roading. That being said, Jeep does have plans to make it more off-road capable down the line, with the automaker hinting at a production version of the beefed-up Avenger 4×4 concept.
