Lamborghini has released a plethora of new images of the potent Urus Performante as part of its international launch at the Vallelunga circuit.
The Lamborghini Urus has a history with the Vallelunga circuit as it is the same place where the original Urus was introduced in 2018. Since then, it has gone on to become the Italian automaker’s best-selling model with some 21,000 examples finding homes over the last four years, with 80 percent of the customers being new to the Lamborghini brand.

Those attending the launch didn’t just have the opportunity to drive the Urus Performante on the track but could also test it out at a rally circuit built just for the SUV. Lamborghini offers the Urus Performante with the option of either 20-inch, 22-inch, or 23-inch Pirelli P Zero tires while those seeking the ultimate in on-track performance can also opt for semi-slick Pirelli P Zero Trofeo Rs.
The international launch also saw a squad of Urus Performante models take to the streets of Rome.
Compared to the standard Urus, the Performante benefits from a host of new lightweight carbon fiber parts, including the ventilated carbon fiber hood, a carbon fiber roof, reshaped front and rear fascias, carbon fiber wheel arches, and an enlarged rear spoiler. Lamborghini has also equipped it with new springs that lower the ride height.
Elsewhere, the 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 has been tuned to deliver 657 hp and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque, an increase of 16 hp, allowing it to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.3 seconds, before topping out at 190 mph (306 km/h). Other upgrades include the fitment of an Akrapovic titanium sports exhaust, a new differential, and a recalibrated steering system.
