While the world is still trying to figure out if the design of the all-new BMW M2 is acceptable, Manhart has dropped the first images and information on their tuning package for the entry-level M model. The Manhart MH2 560 offers more dramatic looks highlighted by a striking livery, alongside a sportier chassis and an upgraded powertrain.
Manhart massaged the twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six engine to an impressive 552 hp (412 kW / 560 PS) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. Those M3-beating figures represent an increase of 99 hp (74 kW / 101 PS) and 100 Nm (73 lb-ft) compared to the stock BMW M2.

The MH2 is fitted with a new stainless steel exhaust system with valve control and the option of downpipes with or without catalytic converters. For the chassis, the Wuppertal-based tuner offers lowering springs or a full coilover suspension.
Visually, the most eye-catching feature of the MH2 is the large-diameter Manhart Concave One alloy wheels finished in silk matt black with golden rings. The carbon-fiber bodykit includes aerodynamic fins on the splitter and side sills, a roof spoiler, a fixed rear wing, and a diffuser. The latter houses an F1-style brake light and quad 100 mm (3.9-inch) exhaust pipes that can be either finished in carbon or ceramic coating.
Finally, Manhart’s signature gold decal set emphasizes the controversial boxy intakes on the front and rear bumpers, the grille surrounds, the splitter, and the rear diffuser, while adding stripes on the bonnet, roof, trunk, and sides. The tuner is currently gathering interest in the MH2 560 before building the first real-life example that will look just like the official renders.
