These days, many manufacturers offer retro-inspired vehicles in their lineup, but none really draw inspiration from earlier than the 60s. So if you want to get a modern car with the taste of something a bit earlier, you could consider this 2014 Camaro SS listed for sale on eBay, which is inspired by some iconic cars of the 1950s.
The car has a current asking price of $85,000 and its odometer reads just 20,450 miles (32,911 km). Called the N2A Motors 789, its design borrows details from various ’50s Chevrolets. The name “789” comes from the three consecutive model years that inspired the vehicle’s styling: a ’57 Bel-Air for the front, a ’58 Impala for the sides, and ’59 Impala for the rear. But what’s even more interesting about this Camaro reskin is that all of its body panels are supposedly made of carbon fiber.

Only fifty 789s were reportedly ever produced, and each one wears a different color scheme. This particular one is a classic combo of red and silver with chrome wheels, and all in all, we’d say it’s pretty well-proportioned as far as these types of conversions go. One gripe we do have is that despite the amount of effort put into giving the car a total exterior transformation, the interior is completely stock. Other than that, though, if the convertible top was white instead of black, we’d say this conversion would be perfectly executed.
Thankfully, this car does have more than enough poke thanks to the 6.2-liter V8 that’s under the hood. The engine makes a healthy 426 hp (432 PS / 318 kW) and 420 lb-ft (569 Nm) of torque, which is all sent to the rear wheels.
