Swiss car customizer Sbarro has produced some bizarre vehicles over the years and this particular creation, based around a 1992 Mercedes-Benz SL, is one of its strangest.
Not a single square inch of the SL’s exterior is recognizable and if Sbarro’s primary objective was to craft something that stands out, then it certainly succeeded. This particular example is registered in Ukraine and is currently up for sale through Ricardo. Whether or not anyone will want to be seen behind the wheel of it remains to be seen.
The exterior of the Sbarro SL Roadster is clad in a bright shade of pink and has all-new bodywork. The unique design starts at the front end with a pronounced splitter, a pink grille, and a voluptuous hood with large air intakes and silver accents.

Sbarro’s changes to the bodywork continue along the sides with new quarter panels and distinctive side skirts with chrome accents. The rear has undergone has just as many changes as the front and has new taillight covers, a rear spoiler with uprights incorporated into the quarter panels, and an additional rear wing with prominent uprights.
Complementing the exterior overhaul are a host of interior changes. Most notably, the cabin of the car has been re-trimmed in pink leather that is just as bright as the paint work. Additional interior components are clad in white leather and black Alcantara.
It is unclear how many examples of the Sbarro SL Roadster were built, but most sources suggest there are just a few in existence.
