Finding a good, affordable used car is harder than ever, but Stellantis is trying to make it easier by offering a new CPO Go program.

While Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) initiatives are nothing new, CPO Go is notable for featuring vehicles that are older than Stellantis and even FCA.

In particular, customers can purchase certified Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram or Fiat vehicles that are between six and ten model years old. The program also features vehicles with 75,001-120,000 miles (120,702–193,121 km) on them.

Needless to say, these aren’t your typical CPO vehicles. However as Jeff Kommor explained, “With more buyers keeping their vehicles longer, our new extended offering allows our owners an added degree of confidence when purchasing one of our certified pre-owned” vehicles.

Speaking of benefits, Stellantis says every CPO Go vehicle receives a rigorous 125-point inspection and goes through a thorough reconditioning process using authentic Mopar parts. Vehicles are also backed by a Mopar maximum care limited warranty.

The warranty lasts three months or 3,000 miles (4,828 km), whichever comes first, and covers “most” mechanical components. The “most” part raises eyebrows and owners will also have to cough up a $100 (£88 / €101) deductible.

Other benefits include a CARFAX vehicle history report, a three-month trial subscription to SiriusXM Guardian and Satellite Radio, and a rental car allowance of up to $45 (£40 / €46) per day for up to five days. CPO customers will also get towing and roadside assistance.

Shoppers can check out CPO Go vehicles by visiting FCACertified.com, although the website doesn’t appear to be updated yet as it only goes back to the 2017 model year and maxes out at 65,000 miles (104,607 km).
