Genesis has just launched the new G80 Sport in the UK market, some 15 months after the vehicle was first announced overseas.
Immediately making the G80 Sport stand out from the standard model are the dark gloss chrome trimmings found across the front bumper, grille, door sill panels, and window edge trims. The headlights also have black trim frames while found at the rear are exhaust trims that also have a darkened finish and perfectly complement the redesigned bumper.
The sporty new looks continue with the availability of red front brake calipers, sitting behind the new dark or light alloy wheels that are offered in 19- and 20-inch guises with two spoke styles, dubbed Diamond Cutting Design and Dark Sputtering Design. Just like in other markets, Cavendish Red paint is available exclusively on the G80 Sport.

Slotted beneath the of all G80 Sport models is a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine pumping out 304 hp that’s coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission as standard. While just one engine is available, customers can choose between rear- and all-wheel drive.
