Three years after the debut of the AMB 001 track-only superbike from Aston Martin and Brough Superior, the companies are back with a new model. The AMB 001 Pro debuted at EICMA in Milan, with more power and improved aerodynamics, inspired by the Valkyrie AMR Pro.
The AMB 001 Pro was designed by Aston Martin and engineered by Brough Superior, which will also be responsible for production. The superbike retains the aggressive stance of its predecessor but adds more pronounced aero components like the new front spoiler, the side wings, and the rear fin, all of which claim to increase downforce and improve airflow.

Another new feature is the racing livery combining Aston Martin’s Verdant Jade shade with Photon Lime accents, satin-finished carbon fiber, and black Cerakote engine and suspension systems. This is the only available option for the AMB 001 Pro which also wears from the ultra-lightweight Aston Martin “lacewing” badge that was originally developed for the Valkyrie, being 99.4% lighter than the regular enamel emblem.
The 997cc twin-cylinder engine with a crankcase machined from solid billet aluminum features a new cylinder design with wet cylinder liners for improved cooling. It produces an impressive 225 hp (168 kW / 228 PS), a 25% increase over its predecessor’s 180 hp (134 kW / 182 PS). Combined with the dry weight of only 175 kg (386 pounds), the 1.28 hp/kg weight-to-power ratio is elevated to F1 territory.
The ABM 001 Pro will be produced in 88 units, handbuilt at the Brough Superior factory in Toulouse, France. This is fewer than the 100 units of its $120k predecessor. The companies have started taking orders for the superbike, with the first deliveries expected in the fourth quarter of 2023.
