American Brand Cars Are Among The Least Reliable In Consumer Reports Annual Ranking
Not especially good news for fans of home-grown metal: U.S. car makers have been ranked as the least reliable, according to Consumer Reports. It found in its survey that Toyota and Lexus were the two most reliable brands in America in 2022, while Asian brands counted for seven of the top 10. In terms of brands to avoid, this year, the worst-performing brands (from the lowest up) were Mercedes, Jeep, VW, GMC, Chevrolet, and Tesla.

Obscuring license plates seems to be an increasing trend for New York drivers, which is why one cyclist decided to remove a piece of plastic from a Chevrolet Suburban in Brooklyn. However, the driver noticed and promptly called the cops, who arrested the cyclist, while letting the driver off without a summons.

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen bounced back from a disappointing (and controversial) weekend in Brazil, with a dominant victory at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The last race of the year saw Verstappen’s teammate Sergio Perez and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc drive a nailbiting final few laps of the race, with both vying for second place in the championship. Leclerc won out, finishing in second, ahead of third-placed Perez.
