Cadillac fans who are also gamers will be excited to learn that the automaker has partnered with Sony Entertainment to create a God of War-themed CT5. The design package precedes the November 9 release of the latest addition to the gaming franchise, God of War: Ragnarök, and the car is being offered by Cadillac China.

For the special edition, Cadillac has painted the car white and given it a special color scheme that is inspired by the tattoos worn by Kratos, the protagonist and titular god of war in the long-standing video game franchise.

The white CT5 features red, gray, and black highlights on the body, the roof, and the mirror caps. It also gets a God of War logo on the hood and a Sony Playstation-inspired triangle, circle, X, and square just in front of the rear wheels.

While the car looks the part, it is hardly powered by a godly engine, especially when compared to the Blackwing model that is offered in North America. Buyers will instead have to make do with the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, which makes a respectable 237 hp (177 kW/240 PS) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque, and is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

In addition to the special-edition car, the companies are also partnering on a co-branded God of War: Ragnarök x Cadillac CT5 gift-box that will be limited to 120 examples. The box comes complete with a 1:18 scale model of the Cadillac CT5, a limited edition DualSense wireless controller, a game-themed nameplate, and a key ring that features the Leviathan axe from the game.

Gamers are very well-served for automotive content this year. In addition to this Cadillac CT5, players of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 will be able to drive the GMC Hummer EV when that game comes out.
