Pre-sales of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 First Edition started in select European markets on November 9, but the demand for the EV was so high that all of the 2,500 units sold out in less than 24 hours.
The Ioniq 6 First Edition was offered in Germany, the UK, France, Norway, and the Netherlands, which are described as Hyundai’s key EV markets.

Hyundai says that those who were not able to pre-order the EV will receive an offer from a dealer at a later date, while the lucky ones who made a reservation should expect delivery of their vehicle between March and April 2023. The European market launch of the Ioniq 6 is scheduled before the end of the year, followed by the first deliveries in spring 2023.
Visually, the First Edition is distinguished by other Ioniq 6 trims thanks to the matte black finish on the 20-inch wheels, the glossy black accents on the bumpers, and the black aluminum Hyundai emblems on both ends. Inside, there is a special leather / Grey Tartan fabric upholstery for the seats and Econyl floor mats with matching Grey Tartan highlights.
The Hyundai Ioniq 6 First Edition is exclusively available with a more powerful powertrain and the highest capacity battery. The dual electric motors produce 321 hp (239 kW / 325 PS) and 446 lb-ft (605 Nm) of torque, offering AWD. Power is sourced from the long-range battery pack with a capacity of 77.4 kWh.
