The Abarth 500 EV has been spied undisguised during a photo shoot, ahead of its unveiling on November 22nd.
As we see in these images shared by Carzturbo on Instagram Looking undeniably cool, the model follows in the footsteps of the regular hatchback but adopts a new front end with prominent “ABARTH” badging. Further below, there’s a sportier front bumper with air curtains and a central honeycomb mesh insert. The model also sports a unique front spoiler, which contrasts with the bright yellow paint job.
The sporty styling doesn’t end there as the model rides on attractive wheels with prominent scorpion center caps. We can also see black mirrors, bodyside graphics, and sportier side skirts.

Abarth hasn’t said much about the model at this point, but promised the car will be “more Abarth than ever.” While some people might roll their eyes at that, there’s little doubt the model will be more powerful than the standard Fiat 500 EV.
There’s no word on how much power the car is packing, but the New 500 offers a front-mounted electric motor with outputs of 94 hp (70 kW / 95 PS) and 117 hp (87 kW / 118 PS). Customers can also choose between 24 and 42 kWh battery packs. The more powerful variant offers up to 199 miles (320 km) of range in the UK, so it will be interesting to see if that number will drop with Abarth’s upgrades.
