Mobile gamers have the chance to walk away with real-life products from Porsche Design if they compete in special events in Asphalt 8: Airborne and Asphalt 9: Legends.
The events have been launched to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Porsche Design brand and kicked off on November 22 with the first of two time-limited events where gamers will race a Porsche Taycan Turbo S. This event will be held through until November 27 before the second event kicks off on November 29 and runs through to December 4th. This event involves the Porsche 911 GT1 Evolution race car.
Registered players who beat the benchmark times could win a number of different prizes, including a Porsche Design AOC AGON PRO PD27S gaming monitor, Porsche Design Sport TWS PDT40 Earphones, and the Urban Eco Cycling Backpack from Porsche Design’s bags and luggage collection. Participants will also win exclusive decals to use on their Porsche models in the games while also receiving access to a discount code they can use in the Porsche Design e-shop.

“We are very excited to join our prestigious partners Porsche & Porsche Design in celebrating this amazing milestone, which is a reflection of their expertise through time,” head of Brand Strategy & Development at Gameloft,” Ludovic Milhau, said in a statement. “Porsche Design’s philosophy, upheld over time, has always been in line with what Asphalt stands for: precision, performance, and elegance.”
Porsche Lifestyle Group chief executive Stefan Buescher added the collaboration is a great way to celebrate the legacy of Ferdinand Alexander Porsche.
“In 1972, F. A. Porsche founded a design studio that would carry the principles and ‘spirit of Porsche’ beyond the world of automobiles,” Buescher described. “The collaboration with Gameloft to celebrate this milestone with this outstanding gaming event marks a highlight in our anniversary year. People from all over the world will have the opportunity to prove their skills with our amazing cars.”
