Tesla’s Full Self-Driving 10.69.3 Update Is Full Of Big Changes

Tesla’s upcoming update to its Full Self-Driving Beta software will arrive with some rather large updates. FSD Beta version 10.69.3 will feature better accuracy and lower velocity error of crossing vehicles and improved vulnerable road user (VRU) precision by 20 percent. Tesla says that the update reduces crossing pedestrian velocity error by six percent as well.


Toyota Shows GR Corolla Rally Concept, 620 HP Supras, And GR86 Daily Drifter At SEMA

The first of several reveals in today’s brief from SEMA are Toyota’s offerings. The GR Corolla Rally concept provides a glimpse at the possibilities for aftermarket customization. Based on the GR Corolla Circuit Edition, the concept adds some rally flavor with a widebody kit and 17-inch OZ alloys, among other changes. There are also a pair of 10-second GR Supras, and the GR86 Daily Drifter created by Formula Drift photographer Larry Chen. Finally, the new Tundra-based Toyota Trailhunter Concept previews an Overlanding-focused trim that will be offered on future trucks and SUVs.

Ford brought 10 concepts to SEMA, including a Mustang Mach-E built by Dom Tucci Design, the F-150 PowerBoost Hybrid, and a Transit: Digital Nomad. One of the more intriguing concepts was the F-150 Lightning: Swiss Army Knife, which comes with solar panels a portable air compressor, a fridge, a console vault, and two Super73 e-bikes mounted to the back.

Lexus brought six modified examples to the 2022 SEMA show, focusing on both SUVs and their sportscars. The LX 600 Urban Concept and LX 600 Alpine Lifestyle concept were the larger two on offer, demonstrating two extremes of sport and off-road modification paths that could be taken. Ringbrother’s SEMA presence consisted of their ’69 STRODE Camaro and their Chevy Blazer “Bully.” The Camaro features a supercharged LS3 V8 that pumps out 1,010 hp (753 kW) to the rear wheels, lots of carbon bodywork, and Fast Track independent suspension components. The Bully packs even more power into that Blazer frame, with 1,200 hp (1,217 PS) coming from the supercharged V8 that’s sent to all four wheels via a Bowler Tru-Street GM 4L80E transmission and Dana 44 and 60 axles.


Subaru-Swapped Porsche 911 GT3 STI By Eneos Might Be The Craziest SEMA Build This Year

Perhaps the craziest build title from this year’s SEMA show lies with Eneos and DevSpeed Motorsports, who have created what they call the Porsche 911 GT3 STI. It features the bodyshell of a Porsche 997 911 GT3 and an EJ25 boxer powerplant from a 2008 Subaru Impreza STi. The engine has been upgraded to put out 542 PS (405 kW / 550 PS) which makes it a lot more powerful than the 409 hp (305 kW / 415 PS) of the stock 997 GT3’s naturally aspirated 3.6-liter six-cylinder unit while being 170 lb (77 kg) lighter.

The head of the Swedish tourist board, Jimmy Sandberg, has written an open letter asking people to spellcheck English Premiere League footballer Erling Haaland. It seems that many misspelled the Mancher City player’s name as “Halland,” which is a region in Sweden. “If nothing is done, we fear our dear region is at risk of becoming a forgotten Atlantis, a place only known in stories and ancient scriptures,” said Sandberg.
