AC Schnitzer has worked its magic on a special BMW i4 M50 for Germany’s Tune It! Safe! campaign in Germany.
The car, equipped with a complete Polizei livery, is outfitted with a plethora of upgrades to distinguish it from a regular i4. These alterations start at the front end where the tuner has fitted a new front spoiler and splitter, as well as subtle canards on either side of the bumper. Changes continue with a small spoiler on the roof, a subtle rear wing made from lightweight carbon fiber and new side skirts trimmings.

An eye-catching set of new wheels have also been fitted. These wheels as known as the AC4 Flow Forming wheels and have a black and silver finish. They are wrapped in Hankook Ventus S1 evo 3 tires that measure 255/35 at the front and 265/35 at the rear to help stick the EV to the pavement. Rounding out the exterior changes include the aforementioned Polizei livery and all of the flashing lights you’d find on an ordinary police car.
A handful of minor tweaks have been made to the cabin of the i4 M50, including the fitment of aluminum pedals, an aluminum footrest and a cover for the i-Drive controller.
Unlike most other products from AC Schnitzer, the powertrain of the i4 M50 has been left standard. In fact, the most significant performance upgrade is the fitment of a lowering kit that drops the ride height by 20 mm (0.7 inches) at the front and 25 mm (0.98 inches) at the rear.
As a reminder, the BMW i4 M50 is powered by a pair of electric motors that combine to produce 536 hp and 586 lb-ft of torque. It can hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in approximately 3.7 seconds and has a range of up to 317 miles (510 km) on the WLTP cycle.
