The Essen Motor Show is right around the corner and BMW will be using the event to showcase M Performance Parts for the redesigned M2.

The range of accessories was originally introduced in October, and this particular variant features an assortment of carbon fiber-reinforced plastic components including canards, mirror caps, and air intake surrounds. The model has also been outfitted with a front splitter, a rear wing, and an M Performance Carbon rear diffuser.

The theme continues in the cabin as the model sports carbon fiber trim and Alcantara upholstery. They’re joined by M Performance Alcantara knee pads that promise to provide “secure grip even during sporty, ambitious driving.”

Other upgrades include an M Performance Titanium silencer, which is 17.6 lbs (8 kg) lighter than the stock component. Besides saving weight, it enables the 453 hp (338 kW / 460 PS) twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six to be heard “even more intensively.”

BMW will showcase an assortment of other accessorized models including a military-esque M135i xDrive in Urban Green. It sports carbon fiber mirror caps, carbon fiber exhaust tips, and a cool M Performance armrest.

Speaking of colorful models, there’s an M4 Competition in Purple Silk and an M3 Touring in Riviera Blue. Rounding out the highlights are an i4 M50 and an M240i Coupe. The latter sports bodyside graphics, aerodynamic side skirts, and a carbon fiber grille surround. The model has also been equipped with carbon fiber sill plates and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with Alcantara inserts.
