The doors have just been opened to Genesis of Greer in South Carolina, the automaker’s second standalone retail facility in the United States.
The expansive facility has an open floorplan and all of the infrastructure needed to support the South Korean car manufacturer’s upcoming portfolio of electric vehicles. The showroom will also be filled with all current Genesis models.
“This has been a great year for Genesis and opening our second standalone retail facility is the perfect way to cap-off 2022,” Genesis Motor North America chief operating officer Claudia Marquez said. “We are glad to partner with Mark and MCE Automotive Group as we continue to move towards the next chapter of our customer focused retail experience.”
Genesis of Greer launches after the car manufacturer opened its first retail facility in Lafayette, Louisiana earlier this year. A number of other locations are under construction cross the country and will be opened in 2023.

“We are pleased that Genesis of Greer will play an important role in delivering an unparalleled automotive retail experience to customers in our community,” added dealer principal Mark C. Escude. “Our community is at the heart of everything we do, and we are pleased to give Genesis a permanent new home for our customers here in Greer. As part of our grand opening, a charitable donation of $15,000 will be given to Greer Relief to help our local community.”
The opening of this new retail facility comes shortly after Genesis announced that sales of the Electrified G80 have started in four more U.S. states; Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Virginia, meaning it is now available in 12 states. It joins the GV60 and Electrified GV70 in the car manufacturer’s range of compelling new electric vehicles available alongside combustion-powered models including the G70, G80, GV70, and GV80.
