The R36-generation Nissan GT-R is a car that we’re all waiting for but it doesn’t appear as though it will launch anytime soon. That hasn’t stopped talented designer Hycade from imagining what it could look like.
Speculation has been rife about the new GT-R since 2014 and yet, we have absolutely no idea what it will look like. Hycade’s take on the car follows a similar design philosophy to that adopted by the current model and makes it much more modern with some impressive touches.
The overall shape and size of the R36 presented is similar to the R35 with a familiar roof line and profile. However, the front is very different as it adopts a pair of sleek LED headlights with daytime running lights. Hycade has also overhauled the grille, bumper, and air intakes, making them slightly sharper and slimmer than the existing model, resulting in a more dynamic and aggressive look.

The striking theme continues down the sides where new wing mirrors have been fitted and the creases in the doors have been altered.
We’re particularly fond of the GT-R’s new rear-end. The new wing is the first thing that catches the end, thanks in part to its sharp endplates and the sheer size of it. Hycade has also modernized the taillights by using thin LEDs and has also crafted a bespoke bumper with a new diffuser and quad tailpipes. It all looks rather marvelous.
