Scuderia Ferrari must have been in a romantic move when they decided to unveil the new F1 car for the 2023 season on February 14, a.k.a. St. Valentine’s Day. The yet-unnamed single-seater was teased with a single sketch during the announcement.
Maranello’s racing department refers to their 2023 F1 car by the project number 675, as the official designation will be revealed at a later date. Mind you, last year’s single-seater by Scuderia Ferrari was dubbed the F1-75.

The teaser sketch doesn’t reveal anything other than the aerodynamic silhouette of the F1 car in an artistic manner. The red background is typical of the illustrious history of the Maranello brand and we look forward to discovering what is in store for next year’s F1 livery.
Following its static debut on Valentine’s Day, the F1 car will head to the winter tests in Bahrain, scheduled for February 23-25. There, Scuderia Ferrari will put the finishing touches to its new racecar before the first race of the season, the Bahrain Grand Prix, takes place on March 3-5.
Ferrari’s driver lineup will stay the same for the third consecutive year, headed by Monégasque Charles Leclerc who finished second in the F1 Driver’s Championship standings this year, and Spaniard Carlos Sainz Jr. occupying the other spot. Both drivers have contracts until the end of 2024. Mind you, in 2022 Scuderia Ferrari came second in the F1 Constructor’s Championship standings behind Red Bull Racing and ahead of Mercedes-AMG.
