These are renderings of the 2024 Integra Type S by Jon Sibal that are neither related to nor endorsed by Acura.
It wouldn’t be an overstatement to say that the new-age Acura Integra fell short of the expectations of many. However, the automaker has the chance to do enthusiasts right with the upcoming Type S variant.
In early December, Acura published a series of photos showing a heavily-camouflaged Integra Type S undergoing testing ahead of the car’s market launch in 2024. While those photos already gave us a good look at the car’s design, designer Jon Sibal has stripped away the camouflage in this series of renderings, allowing us to see what the finished car should look like.

Acura’s designers appear to have spent a few late nights overhauling the car’s front fascia, crafting a new bumper and enlarged air intakes finished in gloss black. Sibal has also rendered the sporty sedan with flared front and rear wheel arches, drastically changing the overall stance of the car and making it look that much more dynamic and purposeful.
The carmaker’s official ‘spy shots’ also revealed that numerous alterations would be made to the rear of the Integra. The most obvious change visible on Sibal’s renderings is a pronounced diffuser and bumper that houses a trio of exhaust pipes exiting out from the center. A small lip spoiler is also visible.
It’s not just the new looks that will make the 2024 Integra Type S something special. Powering the car will be the same 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder as the Honda Civic Type R and while it is not yet clear if it will have the same 315 hp as its Japanese cousin, the Integra Type S should have at least 300 hp. Coupled to this engine will be a six-speed manual transmission driving the front wheels.
