The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe is getting a radical redesign, which appears to draw inspiration from the Land Rover Discovery as well as the Mohave offered overseas.
The boxy design immediately stood out in last month’s spy photos and now we’re getting a detailed look at the significantly improved interior. These screenshots were apparently sourced from a YouTube video, which remains elusive, but they show the cabin will follow in the footsteps of the new Grandeur.
As you can see, drivers will sit behind a Range Rover-like steering wheel and find themselves looking at a freestanding curved display. The latter combines a digital instrument cluster with an infotainment system, although there’s no word on sizes yet.

Elsewhere, we can see slender air vents and a center console-mounted display. The screen is surrounded by metallic switchgear, which appears to consists of both audio and climate controls. They’re joined by a Grandeur-like center console, metallic door handles, and an upscale two-tone design.
Hyundai has been tight-lipped about the redesigned Santa Fe, but the current model is offered with an assortment of different engines including a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 191 hp (142 kW / 194 PS) and 181 lb-ft (245 Nm) of torque. Customers can also upgrade to a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder developing 281 hp (210 kW / 285 PS) and 311 lb-ft (421 Nm) of torque.
Besides the traditional powertrains, the Santa Fe offers hybrid and plug-in hybrid options. The hybrid features a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, an electric motor, and a small lithium-ion battery pack. This enables it to produce a combined output of 226 hp (169 kW / 230 PS).
The plug-in hybrid is similar, but it has a more powerful electric motor as well as a larger 13.8 kWh battery pack. The crossover also boasts an increased output of 261 hp (195 kW / 265 PS).
