The McLaren 720S shook up the supercar industry when it launched, offering hypercar levels of performance in a much more ‘affordable’ and accessible package. Unfortunately, the lives of these two green 720Ss have been cut short.

These two McLarens are up for auction through Copart, one of which is located in West Palm Beach, Florida while the other is available in Portland South, Oregon. Both of them have sustained quite a lot of damage and while one probably can’t be saved, one probably can.

The first is available in Portland South and is a 2021 model. Its rear-end has been torn to shreds and completely crushed. In fact, the passenger-side rear wheel and hub are missing completely and the crash structure has taken a serious hit. One of the taillights is also nowhere to be seen.

Copart has listed the car as having an estimated retail value of $332,701. Various parts from the car could probably be saved, including many of the front body panels and perhaps the front wheels and brakes. It would be a miracle if the engine and transmission can be saved.

As for the second 720S, it is a 2020 model. The listing notes that the 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine starts and runs, which is a good sign. Many of the front and rear body panels are missing but if replacements can be found, we so no reason why this McLaren couldn’t return to the road. In addition to the new panels, it will also need at least three new wheels and tires.
