Spy photographers have snapped the 2024 Mercedes GLE and GLE Coupe on numerous occasions, and now we’re getting our first official glimpse at the facelifted crossovers.
Set to be unveiled on January 31st, the models will benefit from a small refreshening that primarily focuses on the front and rear ends. Both are visible in the teaser image and we can see new headlights that feature revised daytime running light signatures.
Sticking with lighting units, the 2024 Mercedes GLE Coupe has new taillights with horizontal line graphics. The reverse lights have also been moved from the bottom to the center.

Additional details are hard to make out, but previous spy photos have shown the crossovers will be equipped with a new front bumper that features revised air intakes. They’ll be joined by an updated grille and a revamped interior with a new steering wheel. The crossovers could also have an updated infotainment system as well as more advanced driver assistance systems.
We’ll learn full details next week, but this is a minor update so we wouldn’t be surprised if engine options carryover. If that’s the case, there could be an assortment of different options including a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 255 hp (190 kW / 258 PS). It could be joined by a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six developing 362 hp (270 kW / 367 PS) as well as a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 with 483 hp (360 kW / 490 PS).
Spy photographers have also snapped the facelifted AMG variants and the 2024 GLE 53 could have a familiar twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine developing 429 hp (320 kW / 435 PS) and 384 lb-ft (521 Nm) of torque. The GLE 63 S, on the other hand, could have a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 with 603 hp (450 kW / 611 PS) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque.
