A pink 1959 Cadillac Eldorado formerly owned by Kim Dotcom has been listed up for sale in New Zealand.
The car started out life in the possession of a car collector from California. It was later exported to Dotcom’s residence in New Zealand and immediately put on display, never being registered locally or driven on local roads. The Cadillac was seized by authorities in New Zealand when they raided his property at the request of U.S. authorities who hit him with multiple charges after Dotcom established Megaupload.

The bright pink Eldorado has since ended up for sale through Trade Me, initially being listed with a NZ$1 reserve and at the time of writing, had already attracted a highest bid of NZ$120,510 ($76,778).
While the condition of the car has deteriorated since it was new the seller notes that it doesn’t feature any stone chips, rust or signs of major repairs done to the body. The seller adds that it appears both the engine and transmission were rebuilt at some stage and that it will be delivered to its new owner free of any major issues. One Cadillac expert has apparently valued the Eldorado at at least NZ$180,000 ($114,680).
Images show that the bright pink paint of the Cadillac appears to be in surprisingly good condition considering the age of the car. The exterior also features plenty of chrome components and the interior, clad almost exclusively in white leather, adds to the appeal of the Eldorado.
