Fisker has launched a detailed new configurator for the all-electric Ocean SUV, shortly after production of the vehicle kicked off in Austria.
A certifiable basic configurator was launched for the Ocean back in late 2021 but this 3D configurator is much more comprehensive. Three variants of the Ocean are initially available to customers in the United States, although both the Sport and Ultra models have been sold out for the 2023 model year. Prices for the Ocean Sport kick off at $37,499 while the Ocean Ultra is available from $49,999. Sitting at the top of the range is the Ocean One, priced from $68,999. However, given that the 5,000 examples for the Fisker Ocean One have already been allocated, the range is now topped out by the Ocean Extreme, also starting at $68,999.
Production of the Ocean is currently being handled exclusively by Magna at its plant in Graz, Austria. However, the car manufacturer recently revealed that it is exploring the potential of building the Ocean in the United States in the future to ensure it is eligible for the full $7,500 tax credit under the U.S. Inflation Reduction Act. Fisker already intends on building the Pear with Foxconn at its plant in Ohio.
