The seller states that the car has been sitting in his shop since 1997 and while it no longer runs, it apparently just needs a new fuel pump to get going. Of course, it would also need to undergo a comprehensive service and have all of its fluids changed, and key components inspected, to ensure that it is safe to drive.
Few other details have been provided about the car in the listing other than the fact that it does not have any rust, which is nice to know. It is covered in a thick layer of dust, however, and will need a good detail to return it to its former self. The car has a touch under 160,000 miles (~257,000 km) on the clock.
Mazda produced the MX-3 between 1991 and 1998, selling it in many markets including Japan, Australia, and North America. The listing notes that is the high-end GS variant, meaning it has a small capacity 1.8-liter V6 that produced 130 hp at 6,500 rpm and 115 lb-ft (156 Nm) of torque at 4,500 rpm when it was new. It could hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in a respectable 8.5 seconds and complete the standing quarter-mile in 16.8 seconds at 82.5 mph (133 km/h).
