Rewind to June last year and the most bizarre of accidents happened along the George Washington Bridge connecting New Jersey with New York.
Footage of the crash was shared to Instagram by the owner of a BMW E92 M3 who managed to capture it both on his rear- and front-facing dashcams. The incident will likely leave you scratching your head and may make you paranoid about experiencing something similar on the road.

The clip starts by showing a black Jeep Grand Cherokee approaching the BMW from the rear when suddenly, it is rear-ended by a Honda Accord, pushing the Jeep into the concrete barrier right next to the lane. However, instead of stopping, the Jeep continues to drive and swerves past the cammer’s BMW. At the same time, the driver of the Accord also continues driving, slamming into the rear of the Grand Cherokee once again.
The force of this impact sends the Jeep into the rear of an orange Honda Fit, briefly lifting the SUV up onto two wheels before it slams back down on the pavement. Even after this impact, the duo continue to drive and while they are out of view, it sounds like the Accord rear-ended the Jeep multiple other times.
It’s unclear what led up to the first collision between the two vehicles but it’s suggested that it was a case of road rage, seemingly on the part of the Accord driver.
Whatever the reason, it appears as though the Honda suffered much more damage than the Jeep, although both vehicles will clearly need some significant repairs.
