Most people would assume that a Hummer H2 is a better off-roader than a pint-sized Mahindra Major, based around the original Jeep CJ3B. In this case, however, it was the Mahindra that was better suited to a river crossing in India.
This clip was shared to YouTube a few months ago and initially shows the Hummer stuck in a shallow section of water that should be a breeze for the H2 to power through. However, the driver probably didn’t carry enough momentum into the water and likely got stuck on a rock. Not even the off-roader’s four-wheel drive system could free it.

Fortunately, there was a Mahindra Major that came to the rescue. The driver of it strapped it to the tow hook of the Hummer and started to pull. The Major quickly got the Hummer moving but got bogged itself for a brief second, forcing the driver to reset and give it another go.
On the second attempt, the driver of the Mahindra pulls hard and with the help of the Hummer driver gently accelerating, is able to pull the H2 over the rock that it seemed to have been stuck behind.
The Mahindra may be much smaller and have less power than the Hummer but it is light and appears to have higher ground clearance. It also looks to have been equipped with wheels and tires much better suited to off-roading than those fitted to the Hummer.
