A few weeks ago, South Florida Customs (SoFlo) unveiled a lifted, Kevlar-coated GMC Hummer EV that added quite a bit of aggression to the already imposing truck. Now, they’ve put out another one, nicknamed “Sandstorm”, and we think it might be even better.
Like the first one, this Hummer costs $219,000 and features a three-part epoxy coating infused with Kevlar fibers, only this time it’s sand-colored instead of army green. The truck’s interior also features the same brown leather cabin reupholstery, which comes complete with diamond stitching on the seats and center console.

It’s unclear whether this Hummer features the same 4-inch lift as the other one, but it is equipped with new Black Rhino wheels and Atlas Paraller M/T tires for a wider, more aggressive stance. The main discerning feature between the two iterations, though, is the set of sail panels the Sandstorm features atop its bed. Aside from their cool looks, we’d be curious to see if it makes the truck any more aerodynamic to the point where it would add range, but then again, carrying around that massive wheel and tire package would probably negate any potential benefits.
As is the case with the other SoFlo creation, as well as every other Hummer EV Edition 1, this truck’s three electric motors make a combined 1,000 hp (1,014 PS / 746 kW), which is enough to rocket the 9,063-lb (4,111 kg) behemoth from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in a mere 3.0 seconds. Additionally, the truck can still utilize its four-wheel steering and CrabWalk capabilities even with the new wheels and tires.
