Varis is bringing a host of modified vehicles to this month’s Tokyo Auto Salon, all of which should get JDM enthusiasts very excited.
The first car is the tuner’s modified GR 86. It has been outfitted with a widebody kit made from lightweight carbon fiber. We can also see that the sports car has been fitted with a bespoke hood and a towering rear wing. It also sits on 18×11-inch Advan Racing R6 wheels and has been supercharged.

Next up is the new Nissan Z. It too will be adorned with a bodykit although the kit is slightly more restrained and simply consists of new wheel arches, side skirts, and an extended front splitter. There is also a ducktail-style rear spoiler and a new hood. Other changes made include the fitment of an Armytrix exhaust system, Recaro seats, KW Version 3 coilovers, and Volk Racing 20×11-inch GT 090 wheels.
The Tokyo Auto Salon will also play host to a tweaked FL5 Honda Civic Type R. Given that the car is still so new, Varis will only showcase a handful of aerodynamic add-ons as well as 19×9.5-inch Volk Racing wheels.
One of the most striking of Varis’s project cars is its widebody GR Yaris which won the highest award in the tuning car category at last year’s event. It has been fitted with a new front spoiler, rear diffuser, and rear wing while also sitting on Volk Racing wheels.
The final two cars to be displayed by the tuner will be its Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR Wagon and a tuned 2023 Subaru WRX. The former has various engine upgrades, a complete bodykit, KW Version 3 coilovers, Recaro seats, and Volk Racing wheels while the Subaru enjoys various engine upgrades, an aero kit, Recaro seats, upgraded brakes, Ohlins suspension, and Volk Racing wheels.
