The promising all-electric 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 6 has touched down in Australia where it will be sold alongside the Ioniq 5.

Three variants of the Ioniq 6 will be offered to Aussie customers when the Ioniq 6 arrives later this month. Sitting at the base of the range is the AU$74,000 ($51,445), while those with a little more to spend can opt for either the AU$83,500 ($58,050) Techniq or AU$88,000 ($61,178) Epiq.

All versions feature the same 77.4 kWh battery pack but the Dynamiq is powered solely by a single electric motor with 168 kW (225 hp) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. It is good for an impressive range of 614 km (381 miles). Meanwhile, both the Techniq and Epiq variants have a pair of electric motors and HTRAC all-wheel drive consisting of a 74 kW (99 hp) and 255 Nm (188 lb-ft) front motor and a 165 kW (221 hp), 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) rear motor. While this variant has more power, its range drops to 519 km (322 miles).
