Every time Lamborghini announces a new V12-powered flagship there is much speculation about its design and performance. This is also true for the highly anticipated successor of the Aventador, with a 3D model created by digital artist Hycade giving us a likely accurate preview of the exterior.
Hycade’s design is not entirely imaginative. It is based on the numerous spy shots and the recently leaked patent drawings of the supercar. However, instead of creating a model of the standard model that is expected this year, the artist takes it a step further and showcases his vision for the track-focused SVJ.

The CAD-generated model incorporates the wedge shape of all Lamborghini flagships, with heavily sculpted details and ultra-aggressive styling cues. Features like the Y-shaped LED lighting signature on both ends, the complex intakes on the profile, the flying buttresses, the greenhouse, and the dual hexagonal exhaust pipes mounted between the taillights are probably very close to the real deal as suggested by the earlier spy shots. What is different here is the oversized aero components – including the massive rear wing – which were created to justify the SVJ badge.
The yet-unnamed successor of the discontinued Aventador (2011-2022) will be fitted with a plug-in hybrid powertrain focused around a brand-new V12 engine. We don’t have any details on the specifications, but the hybrid supercar is expected to produce more than the 760 hp (567 kW / 770 PS) of the Aventador SVJ, thanks to the extra oomph provided by the electric motors. This likely means that future variants could produce something with quadruple digits, while benefiting from sophisticated torque vectoring functions.
The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ was introduced in 2018, seven years after the debut of the standard Aventador in 2011. The preceding SV was unveiled in 2014, indicating that a performance flagship variant of the next-gen supercar may not be expected for a while. Nevertheless, digital renderings are a fun way to imagine the automotive future and help Sant’Agata fans dream about their next favorite model.
