Genesis is growing the footprint of its electric vehicles across the United States, announcing that its EVs are now available in Colorado.
Prior to this announcement, U.S. shoppers looking to pick up the keys to the GV60 from Genesis could only do so in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Utah, and Washington. Meanwhile, the Genesis Electrified G80 had previously only been available from select retailers in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Utah, Virginia, and Washington.
“We are pleased to offer our award-winning lineup of electric vehicles to even more American consumers,” chief operating officer of Genesis Motor North America, Claudia Marquez, said in a press release. “Customers have been waiting patiently to get into GV60 and the Electrified G80, and we are pleased to expand the availability of these models to Colorado.”

Those who live in Colorado can get in contact with their local retailer for details about the availability of the South Korean carmaker’s EVs.
A partnership between Genesis and Electrify America provides owners with three years of 30-minute complimentary charging sessions from the date of purchase. Additionally, owners of 2023 GV60 and Electrified G80 models have access to Electrify America’s complete charging network across the U.S.
The GV60 serves as the automaker’s first ground-up EV and is built on Hyundai’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). U.S. prices start at $58,890 plus a $1,090 destination fee. Meanwhile, the flagship GV60 Performance AWD is available from $67,890.
As for the Electrified G80, it is based on the same platform as the combustion-powered G80 and is offered in just a single configuration. Prices kick off from $79,825 plus a $1,095 destination charge.
