Whether you are a fan of Valentine’s Day or not, you’ll most likely fall in love with the latest promotional activity of Mazda in Japan. In order to celebrate February 14, Mazda created a detailed scale model of the MX-5 RF that is entirely made of chocolate.

The automaker published photos of the delicious-looking roadster on its official social media channels, highlighting the extreme detail with closeups of different parts.

As if the edible MX-5 wasn’t cool enough, Mazda created spare samples of its dashboard, bucket seats, wipers, wheels, suspension, muffler, and even the chassis. Judging from the real chocolate pieces that are photographed next to the scale model, the edible roadster must be quite small. Finally, we get to see the whole set beautifully wrapped as a present in a white metal box.

Predictably, many Mazda fans asked the company to sell the product, although it will most likely remain a one-off. In our eyes, this is the most beautiful Valentine’s Day gift one could receive, maybe after the Silk Rose Bugatti Chiron that someone gifted to his wife two years ago.

To be honest, we can’t imagine eating this beautiful piece of art, even though we’re sure it has a lovely taste. One important detail is that, unlike most scale models, this one needs to be stored in a cool environment and treated with extra care so it doesn’t melt.
