A teaser image of the tenth film in the Fast and Furious franchise, currently known simply as Fast X, has been released on social media.
The photo shows Dominic Toretto, once again played by Vin Diesel, grasping a necklace with a cross on it and reads ‘The End Of The Road Begins.’ This refers to the fact that Fast X will be the penultimate film in the series before it is wrapped up with Fast 11. The teaser also confirms that the first trailer will be released on February 10 and that the film will reach theaters in May.
While we don’t yet know the plot details of the new film, we do have some idea of the cars that will be featured.

Video and photos captured from the set of Fast X back in mid-October revealed that the Dodge Daytona SRT EV Concept will be featured. Dodge has long been affiliated with the Fast & Furious franchise and it’s possible that Toretto’s primary choice of wheels for the film will be the new electric muscle car.
Another equally-as-striking concept to appear in the film will be the DeLorean Alpha5. The Alpha5 reportedly has a 100 kWh battery pack and electric motors powerful enough to send the EV to 60 mph (96 km/h) in around 2.9 seconds and through to a 155 mph (250 km/h) top speed.
The team behind the new movie had to overcome some challenges during filming, including protests from local residents. Additionally, Justin Lin stepped down as director just days after filming commenced due to creative differences. While Lin has remained as a producer, he was replaced by Louis Leterreier as director.
