It’s been almost 60 years since Lamborghini began producing cars. In honor of that noteworthy achievement, the automaker is celebrating around the globe throughout 2023. The series kicked off last month and will see stops in Japan, the UK, the USA, and other sites.

May 6th, 1963 is the actual anniversary of the bull-emblazoned brand. Since that day, it’s inspired countless automotive enthusiasts with cars like the Miura, the original Countach, and the Diablo. With the end of the naturally-aspirated non-electrified V12 era upon us, Lamborghini is looking back at its history and inviting the world to celebrate with it.

January 19th actually marked the beginning of the celebration. That’s when Lamborghini reopened its newly renovated museum in Sant’Agata Bolognese. In fact, the renovations were completed with the 60th anniversary in mind, and an exhibition entitled The Future Began In 1963 is featured.

Lamborghini Celebrates 60th Anniversary With World Tour Of Events

In about a week’s time, the next event will take place at Suzuka Circuit in Japan. Dubbed Lamborghini Day Japan – 60th Anniversary, the automaker expects hundreds of enthusiasts and collectors to attend the event held on those hallowed grounds. Similarly, Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom serves as the venue of choice for Lamborghini Day UK on April 29th.

Then in late May, the 60° Anniversario Giro tour in Italy will end on the 28th with a concours d’elegance and festival party open to the public. While a date hasn’t been announced, Lamborghini plans a similar Giro in the USA later this summer. Then, it’ll move the party to China, the brand’s second-largest market after the U.S., in September.

In October, it’ll focus more heavily on track-oriented cars at an event in Rome. Hosted at the Vallelunga circuit, the very first Lamborghini Festival will also be open to fans and owners alike. The same location will be the site of the Grand Finals of the Super Trofeo Lamborghini one-make racing series in November.

If your country isn’t on the list, Lamborghini says that official clubs exist in at least 24 countries and that all are planning their own anniversary tours and events.
