Bugatti sure knows how to build a striking, one-of-one hypercar and this is no more evident than with the stunning Chiron Profilée.
The French car manufacturer built the car after Bugatti owners asked it for a vehicle that had the same performance credentials as the Chiron Pur Sport but looked a little classier with less overt bodywork and aerodynamic components. Had the regular Pur Sport not proved so popular, Bugatti likely would have produced more than just one Profilée but had to cap production to a single unit to ensure no more than 500 Chiron-based models were built.

The car was auctioned off by RM Sotheby’s in Paris earlier this week, where it became the most expensive new car even sold at an auction, and just prior to being sold, it was taken out onto the streets of the city of light for some images and videos to be snapped of it. YouTuber TFJJ had the opportunity to check it out in person at the stunning Sacré-Cœur church overlooking the city.
Most of the Chiron Profilée’s components are borrowed from the Chiron Pur Sport, meaning its springs are 10 percent stiffer than the Chiron Sport’s and the rear axle has 50 percent more negative camber. The car’s gear ratios are also 15 percent shorter than the Chiron and Chiron Sport and it will hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.3 seconds and 124 mph (200 km/h) in 5.5 seconds.
Immediately differentiating the Chiron Profilée’s exterior design from that of the Pur Sport is a rear wing neatly incorporated into the car’s rear decklid. The stunning two-tone blue exterior is also a key highlight.
